Common traps
- Unused Flex Credits do not roll over into the next subscription term.
- Exceeding your balance is billed at your contracted rate monthly in arrears. 'No overage penalty' still means an uncapped bill unless you set alerts.
- Flex Credits and Conversations cannot be used in the same org; switching means swapping all Conversation SKUs.
- Sandbox actions still consume credits (16 per action).
- Salesforce's examples exclude Data 360 credits and other consumption services, which are billed separately.
- A single customer request often triggers several actions (Salesforce's own 'Where is my order?' example uses 2).
